Blissful Balance Counselling
Private practice (individual)
Nadia is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Registered Social Workers, bringing over 10 years of experience supporting adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, ADHD, caregiver stress, relationship difficulties, and childhood trauma.

Driven by a deep passion for mental health advocacy, Nadia is committed to breaking the stigma around mental health and increasing education, especially within racialized and marginalized communities. Her work centers on empowering individuals and fostering a more inclusive understanding of mental wellness.

As a BIPOC woman, my personal lived experiences fuel my passion and dedication to marginalized and racial communities. I deeply understand the effects of intergenerational trauma and its influence on our identities and place in the world. I believe in fostering a positive, comfortable, and secure therapeutic alliance with my clients. I have successfully helped individuals from diverse backgrounds, including children and adults struggling with emotional regulation issues, mental health challenges, and those facing family or relationship challenges. My specialization lies in providing collaborative, goal-focused therapeutic interventions to individuals navigating these complex life dynamics. I recognize the intricacies involved in pursuing self-improvement, especially in cultures that stigmatize mental health. My approach seamlessly integrates evidence-based therapies such as ACT, CBT, DBT, Emotion Focused, and Narrative Therapy. Rooted in anti-oppression, my methods are person-centered and solution-focused. Understanding the inner work required to confront life's challenges, I strive to facilitate positive transformations that guide individuals
toward inner healing, peace, and fulfillment.
