Amethyst is a non-profit, community organization that offers various programs including: a confidential and free Day Treatment Program to women who are dependent on alcohol and/or drugs; a Sexual Abuse Program; a Childen's Program for 8 to 12 year old girls and boys from the Ottawa region who have a parent(s) with a substance abuse problem and/or are in recovery; a Problem Gambling Program tailored to the unique needs of women; a Volunteer Outreach Program; various Community Initiatives.
