Panuccio, Sara - Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Psychotherapist
Choices In Action
Private practice (individual)
I have been working in the areas of mental health and addictions since 2008, specifically with the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Care Centre. My specialties are in substance use and concurrent disorders. Additionally, I work with individuals who are experiencing issues with anxiety, grief, depression, eating disorders, relationships, trauma, and general mental health. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I work collaboratively with my clients to address presenting issues and apply an integrated approach to meet client needs/concerns.

I have extensive knowledge and experience in using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, and dialectical behavioural therapy. I have also been trained in schema-focused therapy, attachment theory, and transactional analysis.

I am an Associate Psychotherapist for Choices In Action, Private Practice. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Registration Number: 004640) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (Membership Number: 10001412). My services are covered by most extended health insurances plans.
