Renascent
Renascent helps families reclaim their lives from alcoholism and drug addiction. Renascent facilitates treatment using the 12 steps to help people achieve the goal of abstinence and live a better life in recovery. For alcoholics and drug addicts (age 16 and up), Renascent offers a 21-day gender-specific residential treatment program followed by a 15-week outpatient relapse prevention program (in-class or telephone). Family members don’t have to have someone in treatment at Renascent to access family care programs (in-class and telephone) for adults, parents and children (age 7-11). Renascent also supports workplaces with specialized services to help addicted employees: compliance reporting, safety-sensitive program, abstinence monitoring and driver’s licence re-instatement program. Admission in one business day is possible with 72 hours of sobriety. Renascent has four treatment centres in the Greater Toronto Area – two men’s centres, one women’s centre and one centre for families.
