Ilda’s approach is client-centred and culturally sensitive, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT). As a strong advocate for social justice, she brings a unique perspective as a member of a BIPOC community, promoting inclusivity and anti-oppressive practices in her work. Ilda is passionate about supporting marginalized communities, including refugees, newcomers, and individuals from the 2SLGBTQ+ community, offering pro bono services through the Interim Federal Health Program.
