Event Description
Why don’t evidence-based practices always succeed? It may be due to the implementation. Operation Implementation is a unique symposium where children’s mental health professionals and industry experts will discuss challenges and successes in implementing initiatives in today’s social service environment. Drawing on her international research and experience, keynote speaker Michelle Duda, Ph.D., will re-energize your implementation efforts with a framework and practical tools based on science. Then a panel of peer agencies will offer “Lessons from the Field” for overcoming challenges they faced implementing their initiatives. Finally, in facilitated workshops participants will explore solutions and success strategies for their own projects. Jointly presented by Lutherwood and the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health, this is a “don’t miss” opportunity for anyone implementing best practices, systemic changes and large scale projects that must succeed.Seats are limited for this free event.
