Excellence in Practice is offering a series of One-Day workshops for individuals with anxiety and depression and their family. All workshop leaders are registered psychologists with experience in the treatment of mood and anxiety problems.Workshop participants will learn: 1) the definition, diagnosis and prevalence of depression, 2) how to understand depression using a CBT model, 3) the main CBT treatment strategies for depression, 4) how to help individuals develop strategies to manage depression, and 5) develop self-care strategies when helping others with depression.
