Huron Safe Homes for Youth |
Huron Safe Homes for Youth is a non-profit organization funded primarily by the Ministry of Children and Youth. Without the generous financial support that Safe Homes receives from the Huron United Way, the United Church of Canada and individual donations, meeting the needs of our rural youth would not be possible.
Huron Safe Homes for Youth recognizes that adolescence is a period of transition where youth and their families face many challenges. Unresolved difficulties may contribute to a breakdown of the family unit. The purpose of Safe Homes is to respond to a crisis or emergency situation involving adolescents and their families in an attempt to resolve difficulties, and where possible, restore the family unit.
