Common physical disabilities include: visual impairments (such as blindness); hearing impairments (such as being deaf or hearing impaired); injuries of the skeletal system including muscles, joints and ligaments (such as being quadriplegic or paraplegic); birth and hereditary disorders such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida and cystic fibrosis.
