Event Description

Recent BPD research on diagnosis and treatment of BPD will be summarized, as well as the status of BPD treatment in Ottawa. This will be followed by a facilitated discussion of what family members and people with BPD feel are priorities for treatment of BPD in Ottawa.
Objectives: At the end of this session attendees will be able to:
1. Describe
i. How to diagnose BPD
ii. What is known about the causes of BPD
iii. A stepped care model of treatment of BPD
2. Describe Stepped Care in Ottawa: what is in place, what is still needed
