Bernadette is born and raised in the Philippines. After completing her undergraduate in Psychology, she went to North America to travel. Bernadette came to Canada to complete a post-graduate certificate in Autism and behavioural Sciences, eventually immigrating as she worked through a Master of Clinical Psychology degree from Adler Graduate Professional School. She has worked as a school guidance counsellor, behaviour therapist, clinical supervisor for intensive behaviour interventions (IBI) for children with Autism, play and social skills therapist, and collaborated with CAMH, Hospital for Sick Children, various schools, and community agencies for research and to support client growth and transition.

Bernadette has over 14 years of experience working with clients across the lifespan. She sees individuals with a wide range of concerns including Attention-Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD); Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD); Learning disabilities; behavioural concerns; Anxiety; Decolonization and racial identity, Depression including Post-Partum Depression and Bereavement; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); childhood-trauma and personality disorders.

Bernadette is currently supervising RPs and therapists-in-training including RP(Qualifying).
