Cleghorn Program: Early Intervention in Psychosis
Program/Service of : St. Joseph's Healthcare
The staff at the Cleghorn Program work with people who are experiencing symptoms of early psychosis. The program provides rapid and specialized assessment, consultation, treatment and rehabilitation for people experiencing a first episode of psychosis, based on the principles of recovery. The goal is to reduce the possibility of permanent disability and enhance the quality of life for patients. The program develops a specialized treatment plan based on each patient's individual needs.

The Cleghorn Program is a joint program of St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and the Department of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at McMaster University.

Anyone who is concerned about themselves or another person or who wishes information can contact the program. Eligibility is restricted to those Individuals who have received treatment for 6 months or less for their psychosis.
