If a qualified applicant is approved, Legal Aid may provide partial or complete payment of the legal services provided by a lawyer. Family violence clients may qualify for two hours of free legal advice through the Women's Shelters.
 
Travelling Assessment Officer attends offices in Orillia (Monday 9-1), Midland (2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month 10-12noon), Collingwood (Tuesday 9-1) to take applications from those who may have difficulty attending at the Barrie office. Phone toll free number for location and times.
 
Application, which must be completed by an officer of a Legal Aid Office; drop in; must bring in financial information to determine eligibility; call office for details on financial information required. 
 
Monday -Friday 8:30-4:30. Applications taken Monday -Thursday 8:30-3 only
