This includes skills required to initiate contact with others, making friends, and keeping friends. It includes communication skills as well as conflict resolution skills. Social skills don't always come naturally, and there are many conditions that can impair social skills, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), learning conditions such as Non-Verbal Learning Disability, and even Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
